CPCS Mobile Crane Training Courses are designed to provide candidates with the skills and knowledge to pass their CPCS theory and practical assessments.
We accommodate novice and experienced Mobile Crane Training Courses, supporting candidates in becoming competent Mobile Crane Operators.
- Describe the nature of the sector of industry and their role and responsibilities as a plant operator.
- Name & explain the purpose of principal components, controls & terminology.
- Conform with manufacturer requirements and relevant regulations/legislation. Undertake all pre-use checks.
- Operate the machine safely and efficiently.
- Lift a variety of loads and rotate them at various radiuses.
- Maintain safe working situations.
- Carry out shut down and securing procedures.
Eligibility Criteria
Before attending this course, candidates must pass the CITB Health and Safety Test for Operatives (OPS) within the past 2 years. We can accommodate this test at our centre for a fee of £45.00 plus vat.
- Course time: 6 days
- Day 1: Theory training
- Day 2: Theory test
- Day 3 - 5: Practical training
- Day 6: Practical test
