Earlier this month, Chris Rosser, director, engaged in the Insider Wales Apprenticeships Roundtable, delving into motivations for apprentice recruitment and strategies to ensure the success of apprenticeship schemes which was expertly hosted by Douglas Friedli.
We were delighted to see an impressive line-up at the roundtable which included: Angharad Lloyd Beynon, Samuel Rees, Bridget Moseley, Jessica Leigh Jones MBE, Paul Butterworth, Lloyd Powell, Jacqui Gower, Trina Massie, Keith jones, Sara Jones, and Simon Biggs.
Chris emphasised the importance of defining the pathway for learners, addressing the how, when, and why aspects of apprenticeship opportunities. He highlighted the necessity of meeting minimum wage standards to enhance learner engagement and motivation, underscoring the need for employer education to fully grasp the apprenticeship process.
Chris further stressed the vital collaboration between training providers, learners, and employers to ensure a positive and effective apprenticeship experience for all involved.
